cold worked, compacted fine grain steels.

All of our valve seats are heat treated to the
proper final hardness required to enable them to
perform under today’s adverse engine operating
conditions using low-lead, no lead fuels, lean
burn combustion conditions, hi-performance and
heavy-duty, and propane engines.
The fine grain str ucture
alloy steels provide greater heat transfer rate than
other valve seats at a far lower product cost.
